Families in the street held a competition for the best decorated house. The photograph shows the winner, Carrie Houghton of Number 50, alongside Richard Wilkes of North Walsall School and Harold Cousins.

Nicola helped to get her football team, Windsor Rovers, through to the final of a Windsor Avenue five-a-side competition, but they lost in the final against Goldthorn Gladiators.
