Peggy undertook a walking expedition in the Alps and worked at a school for the disabled as part of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, and she was looking forward to receiving her award from prince Philip at St James’s palace in London.

Christopher Lewis (front) and David Watson, both previously from Tettenhall College, and Hazel Malcolm, who worked for Wolverhampton Council, were presented with the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award by Prince Philip at St James’s Palace in London.
