Bill Reynolds is mentioned, as is Stalag VIIIB. The photograph shows a plaque attached to the bomber's tailfin at the crash site, including the names W. J. R. Kirk, J. E. Mason, W. E. Smith, T. W. Reynolds, R. E. Bentley and N. A. Leonard.
